I created this blog after our nation’s exhausting and ultimately shocking 2016 election. This country elected its first Social Media President. We now wake up to our President’s late night Twitter rants, and many of us spend a good part of our day trying to figure out how we all got here. We were once a country that put a man on the moon with our technological greatness, but now we’ve become a nation glued to our smartphones arguing over the how the once host of The Apprentice is now the leader of the free world. I’m not even close to having any of the answers, but I just can’t help but sit by and not speak my mind on the almost daily outrages of the Trump era.So, I’ve built this blog as a platform, foil, perhaps even a sanctuary where contributors from various cultural spheres can help us decipher the daily news grind that we all now endure. I hope to have you join in our conversation and speak your mind in these Trumpian times.
